Daily Thread, Sunday, 5th September, 2021

Good morning everyone, feels quite cold this morning but apparently we are going to get a bit more sunshine to come with some added warmth. That will be nice. I trust you and your doggy friends are all in good health and thriving. Lynn, hope you get the medication you need for Dillon and that you can keep him going for a yet a bit longer, bless him.

Lovely warm sunny day here today.
We had a lovely time last night lots of laughter and reminiscing about our childhood and everything else generally.
They had a nice time at Michael and Margaret's but feel they wore poor Margaret out, but I am sure she was pleased to see them.
Still doing well with the Zylkene Dillon was very bleary eyed when we arrived home last night and settled quickly when we went to bed.
He slept till 5.30 and then went outside the odd yip but nothing like it has been.
Started his walk well today but soon tired and then of course his back legs got very wobbly. Lots of resting and drinking but still eating well even if a lot less than usual and seems brighter in himself, maybe he needed the sleep to.
Pottering in the garden later we bought some nice plants mostly summer ones in the sale but still have a lot of life and buds so they may get us through September and they are perennials so hopefully have them again next year.

Same old here. Teazle walked, veg for lunch done and more runner beans picked. This week is going to be busy. Tuesday have to be at Ben's house by 8.00 am for a floor tile delivery. Wednesday he has an hospital appointment for his thyroid, which is worrying him as he had phoned appointments and they said a 3 month wait to see consultant. Then Friday I have the dentist. Good week not

It's boiling here...some eejit put a jumper on!! Steve's neighbours have all suddenly begun talking to me.....I have been coming 5 years lol
