'evening all

Sue - Maybe you could have that ice cream with some strawberries if you are growing any this year. I'm having some tonight but SWMBO says I'm not allowed ice cream

Griff - Glad you were able to get out and enjoy a few jars Nothing nicer than a pretty girl in a yellow dress

Lynn - Did they really say 'hanging baskets not allowed' where you once lived, seems ridiculous to me, but when it comes to planning decisions who knows. Our neighbour behind us had a dispute with another neighbour over the noise of horses hoofs on the shingle in her court yard

Chris - Great that hubby can get out with you

To everyone, enjoy the rest of the holiday, see you all tomorrow.

Is it the battery some of these newer drills take an hour or so to get fully charged after that they claim re-charge time is 10 or 20 minutes. I've never understood why the first charge takes so long but that's what they say.

No this one is corded, the button/switch you hold down before depressing the switch/trigger is not fully going in so in effect the drill is not turning on. It may ease with use but no good if I can't start it to use it. Taking it back tomorrow trust me to get a dud, ho hum I at least managed to prune back a few plants.

It's annoying though Kazz because surely things should be tested and ensure they are working before being sent out of the factory

Maybe they have stronger fingers than me...……these robot testers.....just posted a picture of Gert in the garden in General Dog Chat, you can see the afore mentioned raised beds (in parts still) awaiting drilling......LOL In fact here it is you can see I have levelled the garden added the artificial turf and given madam a playground. Did it all myself.....

Wow Kazz, that looks brilliant! You must feel proud of yourself...it really is lovely and all the nicer for a cute staffy !
My laptop, turned it on..the mouse pad wouldn't work so I plugged my wireless one in thinking that it was a software issue, then I got as far as needing to name it and the keyboard wouldn't work, literally just got it out of the box
