Hiya,
This threads got me remembering all the other things they do! (I forget very easily you know!)

They do all the basic obedience stuff;
heel & heel free
sit /down /stay /wait/ come
retreive
scent
A recall
sendaway

Agility

Flyball

All the "basic" tricks...

They've learnt search to a teabag and will now search the whole house for one. They'll do unpegging the washing (on a small line) and put it in the basket. Pick out a toy by name, put the basket ball through the hoop.

Ziggie does skipping and skateboarding, he'll also locate a specific person (he knows around 14 now)...

We copied a curling game out of a magazine one time (at club) where three dogs got "bowled up", then a fourth went laid down next to one then that one had to back up again as though it had been hit - ziggie was the dog that got "hit" and we got extra points because he "creeped" backwards in the down

Knockdown is where you teach one dog to copy anything the first has done (and so on), so if you tell one dog to down the second one copies and so on like a mexican wave. It's quite hard to teach as the second and third (and so on) dogs have to wait before doing the command though they can see clearly what it is they have to do. You have to be careful which dogs you do it with though so they dont always wait after a command i've got a video of them doing knockdown roll overs somewhere - i'll try and dig it out.
H xx

Wow shadow boxer thats some list! Very impressive! My pup is only 14 weeks old so we're still working on basic commands but he knows come, sit, down, off (when he jumps up or trys to hump our legs!) ta (giving whatever he has in his mouth) fetch, paw, other paw, and will sit on mat by door and lift his paws in turn to have them wiped when he comes in from outside. He is learning to walk nicely on lead and is good off lead, is learning stay and to touch points chosen with his paw i.e a cuboard door handle etc, am eventually going to teach him to ring a door bell put at floor level (well thats the plan!) Am teaching him to put his toys away but need a new box cause he chewed up the last one!
He is very clever and picks things up very quickly he learnt paw in a mater of minutes! And learnt sit the first day we had him at 7 weeks old! Am hoping to do agility and obedience with him when he's older to keep his little mind busy!

our old guys can do the usual and one dances when you sing 'dancing queen' the other one will take a bow! Will both bark in the appropriate places to 'how much is that doggy' and can add up!!!
11 week old pup can sit/down/ wait/leave food until told to take it, come when called and sit and wait until called when he'll sit in front of you!!!! He's a clever little s*d!!!!!!!
sounds like theres' a lot of them on dW, pats on the back all round!!!!!!

Johan

What dogs do you have, how long have you been training? Where do you trained. What other things have you trained.

How do you train go Forward?
What do you mean Apport? How is this trained?

I think to find a paticular smell is really interesting.

I have teached mine to retrieve named articles.

China.
What a clever dog. Well Done.

I have teached speak. What cues do you use to speak (both quiet and loud?)

Awwww, the paws sounds really cute.

I have teached the Watch me command. I think this so useful.
