Fight against puppy farms in Wales

Carmarthen Council has recently given retrospective consent for yet another puppy farm in Wales. Converted barns, no outside runs, automatic feeding and watering system, 200 breeding dogs, all to be run by 2 part-timers. Staggering

Please sign this petition which calls on the Welsh Assembly to urge the Welsh Government to stage an independent inquiry into the enforcement of animal welfare standards in the puppy farming industry in South West Wales.

We're involved in gaining signatures against puppy farming in Wales. I don't know if this petition is the same one but it sounds like it. The one we've just completed in the shop has closed but the campaign is ongoing.
The guy who runs this puppy farm is applying for his licence to be renewed which is the other reason we're campaigning. He has 1.5 people working for him for 196 dogs!

It's shocking...please sign!
