I cannot go anywhere without company - probably because I do not have any interior doors to close, but I was rather embarrassed at the Vet on Wednesday when Pereg insisted on coming with me to their loo! She refused point blank to let me go in without her!

NO interior doors? What happens if you have a visitor and one or other of you NEEDS THE LOO?

You used to have to have two doors between a kitchen and toilet for building regs in the UK (hence lots of little vestibules in older properties and pubs) but one is fine now. But you must have ONE.

Neither loo is anywhere near the kitchen and they are at both ends of my L-shaped bungalow, so if anyone needs the loo they go to the one the furthest away - which is usually the one in my ensuite.

They do have curtains across them though...
