Windows Live Mail (Windows 7) question

Hello all you brainy people......

I've recently changed my email address.

I have my old email address as part of my signature which I've set to automatically be inserted into any email I send.

I have tried for about an hour now to find out HOW and WHERE I can actually change it, to no avail. I can see it, can insert it manually but can see no way to change the flaming thing.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

TIA x

Sorry, should have read the title properly!

Try under Tools - Signatures and reset it from there?

But on our computer there is no 'login' procedure.

The shop set it up so that there is an icon on the desk top, we click on that, and we get a window with all the incomming e-mails, is that the same as 'loggingin'

Oh our name is not in the top right hand corner either

Aha I've just seen a button (middle at top) which says 'sign in' have never used it so I guess we're not registered with MS Live mail, I tend to prefer Yahoo anyway

go to www.live.com and enter the email address and password .... the part on your desktop is just a program to get the emails through to your desktop without having to go through the 'log in' process on the website

Hi, and thanks...... logging in just takes me to my hotmail account. The old email address is on there as the "preferred" email address. I've added the new one, but cannot select it to be the "preferred" one.

None of this helps me to change the signature on my outgoing emails...... aarrrggghhh! I can't even find a HELP function!

Oooh, a bit of success...... Windows Live has added my new email address and made it the "preferred" email.

However, I'm no further forward with changing the signature on my outgoing emails......
