Daily Thread, Friday 12th August

Good Morning well, it may be cold this morning but temps are supposed to go up to about 26c today! Could do with some warmth we are chasing through August and unless we get an Indian Summer we are going to feel as though we have had no real summer at all.

Lynn surprised you let the peurgot go before getting another car. I suppose you have to take the opportunities when they arise. Do hope you find something suitable soon before the end of the month.

Nippy, hope you had a great birthday yesterday dear little Pepsi certainly enjoyed herself.

Griff, hope you are feeling better today also Mandy, do take care.

Hi to Norma and 1cd hope things are good north of the border.

Harvey hope you and Casey and Lara are doing well,

Have a good day everyone, hope things are better for you too Brenda, have a good day all. stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.

Good morning Moyra, Griff and all who follow

Dont blink Moyra or you may miss the bit of summer they have promised next week

Pleased you are feeling well Griff and good luck with the fitting of heart monitor

Fingers crossed a car appears soon for you Lynn

Sunny here this morning and not too cold, at least for me. Washing out and having a quick breakfast before taking her ladyship out. Nothing much planned today so will go with the flow.

Have a good day and stay safe.

i am even allergic to them Brenda, we have already tried them...i have to go into theatre with none if the staff will risk it or they have to put them on at the very last minute and take them off as soon as i am out. Good luck to your friends dog, horrible when you aren't sure what's wrong with them
Sue, i am sure you will find something to keep you and tumbleweed out of mischief Lol

Morning Moyra and all who have followed and those still to follow.
Not much choice Moyra it added a few more pennies to the pot and Gorden is home till beginning September and although a squash dillon if needing the vet would get in his car.
If push came to shove the vet would get us or Beth and Paul would help out with their van if about.
Will need another car before he returns to work though.
Very warm out already but breezy.

Hope everyone is well today and all four legged friends are well to

At least we are getting odd weeks here and there. Remember the summer it was the Jubilee and it started raining on that day and didn't stop for months. I do like the warmer autumns we seem to get now. Used to be thermal vests and ice on the horses water buckets by October, fire in all day and frost on the car is in the morning. Dry here but with dark cloud, feeling less sore this morning and girls will be off out in a while, sleeping breakfast off at the moment
Griff, hoping it goes OK this morning, why do they want to monitor you.
Have had some of mine enlarged and framed by Max Spielman, Barry, they've done an excellent job.
Are you feeling any better these days Moyra, hoping the warmer weather they say we are getting helps you. Looks like the South will get the best of it. Poor Norma, it looks like winter has already started where she is
Got a letter from United Utilities with a card to pay my water at a Pay point. They seem to have ignored the fact that I pay them every month from my bank if every household has had a this, how much money has been wasted. Could understand if I had paid that way, or was in arrears, but I'm not.
Hope you had a lovely day yesterday Nippy and didn't eat too much cake.
Lynn, any cars on the horizon today
Brenda, don't eat all the biccies
