I really like River Cottage Veg book. When I make things they actually look like the pictures do!
My only complaint is the portions are very small for me

I had a boss who bought everyone copies of the Be-ro cook book for Christmas one year. Mine lasted approx 2 seconds before my mother nicked it to replace her copy that was falling apart at the staples.

Latest one i bought is Jamie Olivers 30 minute meals, but not cooked any of the meals yet. I like Rachel Allen cook books and i have cooked quite alot of Delia Smith recipes, her Tiramisu recipe and Carbonara are favourites in this house. Also Antonio Carluccio Italian and dare i say it, Nigella !

Just been on Amazon and bought a second hand copy of The Cookery Year (74). I need something to cheer me up and it looks a good book.

I have got a couple of their books - Mum's Know Best and they are fab.

Another good baking book is the one that goes with the Great British Bake-Off. Really good recipes in there.
