What do you call your dog?

This morning I asked Pereg to do something and when she did I automatically said "good girl". What do you say - good girl/boy/dog, or good and the dog's name?

Good boy/girl, depending on sex of dog.

It depends on who I'm talking to and what they did tbh, usually it will be good girl/boy or clever girl/boy but with Syd who was the brains of the outfit it used to be Clever Git and a big smile or laugh out loud.

It's usually "Good girl" followed by either Chloe or Georgina. If they've done something collectively it'll be "What good girls I've got"!
