Bunnie is beautiful Vicki and because you are a shiba girl at heart I think she will make the perfect addition.
Now you know Saturday is going to take ages to come round this week don't you
Really happy for you and I hope all goes well when her and Lennon meet.

I had a long chat with the breeder yesterday and apart from the initial toiletting problems, she should fit in easily. Being a kennel dog, "house training" is not usually something they are very aware of. Mya was the same. However, "sheebs" are very quick learners and I have a lot of patience and plenty of towels to cover the carpet

Bunnie also is rather possessive of food, so it may be prudent to feed them separately for a while. I'm hoping it will be a trait I can "talk her out of" in time, but if not, it's not a problem.

She is currently raw fed, as Len is, so no need for a change in diet, which will be great.

She is "kennel smelly" but I just couldn't wait another week while Gill gets her bathed. She couldn't do it right away as her kennel maid is preparing for a show this weekend (Gill, sadly, is confined to a wheelchair).

I remember Mya stinking to high heaven when we got her. She was also so scared that she farted all the way home (2 hours) - it was rank........ I only wiped her over with some pet wipes as she was a nervous wreck and I never bathed her all the time I had her. Plenty of grooming and she was just fine. Hopefully it will be the same for Bunnie. I am hoping she smells a little less than Mya as the journey is 3 hours home and I can't find my gas mask

Thanks Louise. Sadly, Mya was in dreadful pain, but my consolation is that she is pain free now.....

Ah Vicki that's wonderful news.

You have been here before and will have Bunnie settled in her new home in no time and hopefully she will help to heal your heart xx
