Steve,

If you do a 'Google search' you will be amazed at how many people there are. It's too many really & I found it impossible to make a choice. In the end I went with someone who is a Dogsey member and who has had some good reviews on here. She is known as 'Artist Heather' she's doing a sketch for me now & I'm considering giving her an 'oil' commission latter. BTW she explained to me why most artists now use Acryllic rather than oils.
If I can work out how to do it I'll put up a link to her site shortly.

She is quite near to you as well. If you can wait a week or so I'll tell you in a PM what my sketch is like.

It depends how much you would want to pay.....have a look here...
http://www.johnsilverfinearts.com/

He will do commissions when he has the chance, but it does cost as he uses oil on canvas, check out how he works and you'll see why he costs a lot...he's also well known and exceptionally good...

Just depends how much you want to pay....

Ramble - Just had a look at John Silvers site, wow his work is stunning, but if you can count Royalty & the Kennel Club among your clients I guess it should be. Thanks for the link.

Hi Losos can i ask you why so many artist use acrylic instead of oils then.I use both and apart from being a quicker drying media i cant see much difference. I no alot of artist that perfer oils as they find it very hard to work with acrylic .What do you prefer and why.
