I swore to ignore the Olympics but this takes the biscut....

in the Mail:

Olympic flame carriers cash in by listing their torches on eBay for up to £150,000

Just a day after the epic flame relay begins runners are trying to sell off their Olympic torches
Online auction site lists several attracting six-figure bids
One seller has posted up torch for sale despite being yet to complete their leg of the relay

Personally I think they should use a wind up torch. Was only a matter of time.

(I like your wife!)

I don't care what they do - more fool the numpties who pay for this stuff. I bet they sell a zillion times more torches than were used for the job lol!

*like the bricks from the Berlin Wall and all that!

Doesn't bother me-----they had to pay £200 for the torches and the people following are getting transport and accommodation etc.

Hope they do well out of them.

I love the olympics!

Good for them, at least someone other than businesses will be seeing a benefit from the Olympics.
