Thanks Lizziel, thanks Carole and thankyou Iso, it truly is a sad time around here for all of us, let's hope we all come out the other side with just happy memories. Sadly, I know what's coming only too well, nothing can compare.xxx

Helena I am so very sorry, can't say much more at the moment as I am so tearful, other than I know exactly what you are going through and that you have to be strong for both Cassie and Georgie, my thoughts are with you all. I know you will Treasure each second you have left with your darling girl. Comforting hugs. Eunice

oh, Helena. I too am in floods of tears.

But I'm glad you had this very detailed talk with the specialist. Not being certain what is the best thing to do often makes things even worse and although it is devasting news, you are no longer in doubt.

I am sure Cassie will tell you when she is ready, until then make the most of your time with her.

(((hugs)))

So sorry Helen, but I think you have said it all and you know what is the right thing to do now. Even though you know that it has to be done it is going to be so hard for you and my thoughts are with you. You really will be doing the best thing for your baby and you have all those happy memories to keep with you.

Thanks Lynn - just another nail in the old coffin hey?!!! Hope all is well with you at the moment too.

Thanks Eunice, I know you know only too well how I'm feeling. Hope it's not still too raw for you at the moment.

Thanks Hail, and yes, somehow I've found an inner strength now that I know what we're dealing with, and because the vet was such a lovely man, with the right approach for me and for Cassie, I actually feel quite strong at the moment knowing what I will have to do next. Don't think Dave will cope very well though, but that will make me all the stronger, it did before. Take care.

Thanks Katie, yes that's the foremost thing in my mind, I've got to do right for Cassie, I owe her that.

Sorry you're all feeling my pain, but I am just like you when these things happen on here, we must all be very close, but we know why don't we. Take care and thanks to all of you.xxx

I'm so sorry to hear it wasn't the good news we all hoped for. My heart goes out to you and to Cassie. You have always done and are doing your very best for her and I know you will make the most of the time you have left. You are very brave. This comes to us all at some point, doesn't it?

Give Cassie a gentle hug from us here and know I am thinking of you both. You know where I am if you need to talk or anything.
I'm really sorry Helen.

Remember lass we spoke of sick irony? This is the story of Polly, circumstances wise, even right down to the time of year..she seemed to improve, then it was very sudden and we had to let her go. Its strange really.
I really feel for you all right now, after so many years shared together I can only imagine the horror you are all feeling, and she is such a big sweet teddy bear too!
You will cope, we never think we will but when the time comes we manage to bear up...it's going to be a harsh path you begin to face.
Remember I'm always there, you've got my email addy as I don't get to log on here as often as I would wish too anymore.
Take care
x
