Public transport

Sue was working out how long and how much it would take to go to the NEC for Crufts etc on a Sunday by train. The first local train leaves at about 10am, and after 3/4 changes we would get there about`1pm and the cost around £80 return per persom.

No wonder the first choice is going by car, what a disgustion public service we have for carless people.

No chance if showing a dog that would be in the ring am

We don't have trains or buses here AT ALL on Sundays, and no services after 6pm in the evening, unless you are able to walk a mile up a very steep hill to the main road where the buses still run.

I have 2 buses an hour on a Sunday from 09.10 until 23.35....on a weekday there are 4 buses an hour starting at 6.10am, it hasn't always been the case, we used to get 1 bus an hour on a Sunday that stopped at 7pm and in the week no buses after 7pm....plus it was a different bus company which meant you had to buy another bus ticket for the other company
