The RSPCA are spineless, PC idiots. Clearly there was evidence of cruelty - the poor dog was thrown into a shallow harbour - there could have been any amount of dangerous objects in the water. How much more evidence do they need - are multiple witnesses not enough evidence?

No bollox unfortunately the RSPCA.

Infuriating. Shame they turned up for the culprit's own safety if you ask me.

I do hope there is NO chance that dog will be going back to him (if it was his dog).

Bad enough chucking litter into the Harbour but far worse doing that to the dog.

I would love to know how much evidence they need to prove this case, seemed clear cut with so many witnesses and a very wet dog !

Quite Julie! But when did the RSPCA EVER show even a modicum of intelligence? I reported some starving horses last winter in a field in the village of Flore in Northamptonshire, between Northampton and Daventry. I gave clear and precise directions as to how the field was slap bang on the main A45 on a very bad bend, coming from Northampton they could not fail to not find it!

I got a phone call from one of the officers to say "where on Lumbertubs Way are these horses?". Lumbertubs is miles away from Flore near the centre of Northampton - where on earth were their brains? I even gave them the Ordnance Service grid reference ... thick as bricks.

I have absolutely no time whatsoever for the RSPCA. That poor dog though and I agree with Lynn, the low life should have been given a taste of his own medicine.
