help how do i go wireless

as i have now got a laptop and want to be able to take it upstairs with me want to know how to become wireless as have a broadband cable from set top box to computer at the moment. with ntl.

any help would be appreciated

Is your laptop wireless enabled ?? if not you'll need a wireless card , and you need a wireless router so that it can 'talk' to your laptop

First of all your going to need a new wireless modem/ router for use with cable tv.

Also your laptop needs to be wireless enabled either with a wireless card inside or by putting a wireless card into your PCI slot on the side of the Laptop.
