The last 36 hours

Started at 10pm night before last one mare not very happy about being in Labor, mare watch started, she is high risk its her first foal and shes blind so wehave to be there

And continues into the early morning, the dogs and me with loads of tea,we watched the cowboys trying to round up the cows
we watched the cows stampede

Scrappy went to help and brought home the one that got away

Shamus played

and in doing so wiggled the one ive been waiting for for 4 days out and what a beauty it was

Now its tea time still no baby and scrappy has been awake way too long

HA 11.41 last night look what popped out,its a girl "contessa"

And this morning we are all tired the mare did awesome, it was a pull job and we almost didnt make it but the little one is strong, she grabbed her first piece of hay while he back legs were still in the mare, kicked the bejesus out of me and ran around till 4.30 in the morning
