Police dog training

I found these old photos today, taken at a PD training session. (My ex is a PD instructor).

Hope you enjoy!

Great pics.

I've always fancied being the stooge (so long as I'm fully padded) so I can experience just how powerful these dogs are.

Thanks for sharing. We always had police dogs staying with us when I was a kid as my Dad was a cop. Bought back memories as we used to sometimes watch the training.

Stooges are usually other police dog handlers, so they are more than aware of what they are letting themselves in for

You really do have such wonderful pics brings back loads of memories of my husband John "running" criminal in the PD stake in working trials, had a few "extra" bites as one or two dogs in every trial woulldnt come off the sleave cleanly and would have a sly nip of his fingers up the sleeve.

Anyway wonderful pics

Thanks guys - glad you liked them.

I do miss watching them train.

The Police Dog National Trials are being held this week in Liverpool but unfortunately I have too much on to be able to go and watch
