Aparently my ideal breed is an Afghan Hound (no thanks)

then

Welsh Springer Spaniel (wouldn't mind one as I love spaniels)
Gordon Setter (again, wouldn't mind one)
Drentsche Partridge Dog (never heard of one)
Portuguese Pointing Dog (don't know anything about them)

I've never thought about my No1, but I am now, sounds perfect - Irish Red & White Setter.

Then I got:

German Long Haired Pointer
Dunker
Musterlander

I have to say they're all pretty spot on for me.

Useless

(I noticed that your link was to the USA site, so I did it twice with the same answers - once on the UK site an once on the USA site. It selected the same dogs, but gave different one as first

My 'perfect breeds' are apparently

spanish hound
English bull terrier
American Staffordshire terrier
Bohemian wire haired pointing griffon
Hanoverian hound

Now I do like EBTs, but would never own one and how they managed to select that breed when I said I wanted to do agility/obedience/flyball, I'll never know?

(or am I being unfair - has anyone ever seen an EBT doing any of those sports?)

I got ~

Miniature Pinscher
Airedale terrier
Affenpinscher

All dogs I like and would be happy to own!

But the last was a Polish Sheepdog when I said I only wanted weekly grooming.

I got an American Staffordshire Terrier, followed by an English Bull Terrier, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a Spanish hound and a Griffon.

Well, at least they got the "terrier" bit right.
