"tummy"

Finding cricket balls (object association - expected response - 'sit')

Shes also got a fab recall and will take herself out to toilet if the door is open

The speak one might be hard; she's only woofed twice since I've had her!

What a fab idea!!

Is walking backwards OK for a pup?
I went to a seminar when ben was about 9 months old and she taught us a great way to do that

then about 6 months ago I finally got to a class with the same trainer and she was now saying pups shouldnt be walking backwards

also in the seminar we had Ben on his hind legs (which he did naturally then so I saw no issues with that) but I know people now say to wait till over a year

can kinda see the point of waiting before going up on hind legs - but cant see how walking backwards can be anything but good for a pup

trying to think of other nice tricks

circle you
circle a object
heel between your legs
leave it and give it
nose touch a target stick
free shaping with a box or something (wish I had started this sooner with Ben)

What's freeshaping?

She's coming on really well! Does she enjoy her little training sessions? She looks bright as a button!

Yes! Shes highly food motivated and keen to please which is fab! She started doing the 'tummy' one by herself, I just added a word to it! *love*

Thanks for the comments everyone!
