With my staff, if another dog approaches her looking for a fight she's the first to think 'ok, lets go for it' though she's never been in any kind of altercation with another dog.
But when other dogs, like this red staffy on the bus the other day ran up to her cuz the owner wasnt paying attention they were at the back of the bus and we were in the middle, it came bounding over to KC ...snift her butt...cant believe i just typed that lol instead of going for her though and kc was just intrigued by him the whole bus journey then, and as we got off they both wagged their tails at eachother.

I think some dogs just want to fight, some are just too 'heavy handed' at playing and others have a thing about 'i have to protect my master'

So sorry yet another iresponsible owner of a sbt as let our breed down.My two sbt are always put back on the lead, even if another dog is miles away. They have never atacked another dog and have been well socialised as pups, but they are adults now,and sometimes no matter how much they mixed with other dogs when young it goes out of the window once they mature(or it can do).
We will never take the risk EVER,yes they are brilliant people dogs, buts are known for dog on dog aggression.
Hope your Jess is ok and yourself, once again im apologising for another idiot owner.Seems to be happening alot recently.
