I had imagined if it became more natural to see all dogs with tails it would stop people trying to do it themselves as it would stand out so badly as being done.

At the end of the day that will always happen, and what do you do, you can't put it back on,,,,,,,,,,,,, and for everyone that gets caught there are probably hundreds that don't, not that i condone anyone doing it themselves, i wouldn't mind but he could have had that done legally


at the beginning of the ban certainly in spaniels it was difficult to find a vet that would dock a litter,, but that seems to have relaxed in recent times, and you see just as many docked litters as undocked,,,,,,,,, i just wonder if that does relate in some way to the amount of amputations that they are doing, food for thought ?
