Well I regularly shop and both and ALL my Christmas food comes from M & S, top quality, tasty stuff and most without the gunk many other places put in.

Our wedding cake came from M&S. It was fabulous, beautiful to look at, oh so tasty and delivery to the store was a doddle.
And most importantly to us, made with free range eggs of course

We got married very last minute and did consider a lot of the buffet selections they did before using a local hotel, it all looked really good.

I LOVE M&S food. Shame it is so dang expensive for everyday shopping (unless of course, you have lots of money). But it is great for get togethers, parties, etc., and saves you cooking.

I usually go into M&S for a sandwich and come out with loads of food I don't need, but buy cos' it looks nice. So, I try to avoid M&S as much as possible.

M & S vintage champagne is SUPERB, well worth the money and on a par with bubbly twie the priced.

Do NOT buy their cheap version.

They have an EXTENSIVE wine cellar ranging from inexpensive drinkable plonk to some SUPERB wines in all colours.

If you let me know what precisly you are looking for, ie Colour, Country, Type I could probably assist you............

excellent. Thank you Smokeybear

Our plan is, to hire the village hall, and rather than get a mobile bar in (rubbish and expensive) and we are going to provide beer/ale/cider couple of bottles of spirits and of course wine.

A decent red, lots of rose for myself and my sis, and a load of white too. Maybe a few bottles of something special for while we are eating, then £4 bottles for quaffing...maybe I need to go to M and S and do some research!
