Tea and Sympathy -(updated @ post 51)

I'm on the scrounge for Dogsey healing vibes please.

I'm currently sat here with my foot in plaster, unable to walk anywhere without using crutches ;o(

I was walking Woody at lunchtime and felt a searing pain in my calf and up/down my leg. Neil came to get me and drove me to the minor injuries unit at our local hospital.

Turns out I've damaged my Achilles tendon and they have put me in a plaster cast until I can have the specialist assess and scan it on Thursday.

So, can everyone please cross everything that it's not snapped or at the very least that I can get the cast removed on Thursday and just rest it. I'm in agony but the cast is so annoying!! ;o(

Oh and Neil's gone to go get my car and left my crutches at the other end of the room, so if someone wouldn't mind passing them to me so I can nip to the loo? *wail*

Sod the tea - have some booze, that solves most injuries and makes them better!!

Hope you feel better soon mate and make sure you rest it up and don't try to do too much. Hope the specialist gives you good news on Thursday, i'll be away but i'll have a drink by the pool in your honour!

Hope you don't have to keep your legs crossed too much longer either!!

Oh dear poor you I've had Achilles tendonitis and that's bad enough, so fingers crossed for good news on Thursday

Try not to think of waterfalls, or babbling brooks, or waves lapping gently against the shore, or a dripping tap or.............
