Bandit and the horses.

Had to pop down and rug one of the horses up since we're expecting heavy rain and at 32 years old we don't want him getting cold. I took Bandit down to scare off the rats for me so I thought I'd nab a photo of them all together.

My goodness he doesn't look anything like 32 years old, I think that's the equivalent of 150 isn't it. I want what he's having

Haha he looks worse without his rug on, we thought we were going to lose him earlier this year but with a change of diet and an adjustment to his cushings meds his condition has really improved His friend is a 22 year old ex-racer and after I took this photo the pair of them went bombing off round the field being complete muppets!

He looks completely with it, the oldest horse I know of personally is my Heidi's father who was pts at 36, I never got to meet him as he died shortly before I bought her, but I have piccies of him still.
They look in great condition.

Thanks, they're the horses where I work/live. They spend their days grazing and generally chilling out. The one on the right was the first horse Bandit ever met at 7 weeks old. You can imagine how little Bandit was then in comparison!

That's a very impressive age. It's a shame you never got to meet him. We lost a 35 year old pony last year and although Mac, the one on the right, is our oldest equine (we have ponies, horses and a donkey ) at the moment all of them bar a couple are 20 years plus.
