Five things you wish you could tell your dog

Sometimes I wish Cain could understand English and I could just explain things to him. What five things would you choose to tell your dog if they could understand English? Here's what I'd tell Cain

1. It hurts and exhausts me when you pull on the lead. If you walked nicely next to me we'd get there quicker and you'd probably get longer walks

2. Strange people and dogs aren't all seeking to hurt you, if you stop being scared and defensive towards them you could come off your lead and have loads of fun

3. We love you and despite your many homes before, we are your forever home, so you don't need to be so clingy and follow me everywhere! Just because I leave the room doesn't mean I'll disappear!

4. Most humans don't appreciate a head butt and a French kiss as a greeting!

5. If you don't like baths, don't roll on poo, simples

I'd tell Polly that it makes me cross when she wrecks all the beds!

I'd tell them all I love them to bits.

When the time comes I'd tell them that they are just going to go to sleep and that the pain will stop---and that I am sorry.

Joe,

1. You don't need to be scared of dogs, they're friends!

2. People will NOT hurt you anymore, we won't let them so don't lunge at them

3. The god awful noise you make walks attracts dogs, which you don't like, so stop the noise

4. Eat slower, you won't be sick

5. Stop chewing your beds.

If only he could understand English! Life would be so much easier!!!

Haha fab idea for a thread!

1. Tissues are not for eating!

2. If you came inside when you were called you could go off lead in the garden whenever you wanted!

3. Biting my feet does not make me go downstairs faster!

4. It would really help if you'd stop biting people when they come over. Then you could be off lead when they're in the house!

5. I love you and I won't ever give you up, no matter how many tissues you eat!

I love you more than I could ever say.

When we take you to the vet it's for your own good to make you better.

All dogs sniff bottoms, live with it

Not everyone appreciates you woo wooing at them in the woods.

Birds are allowed in the garden, (oh ok, but not cats!)

Rune that was lovely xx

Great thread Moon's mum!

If I could just have one wish that they would understand something then I would tell keisha, when Zeke is gone , that he is back to full health and very happy over on rainbow bridge and I would promise her with all my heart that they will see each other, and be able to play and cuddle again one day xxx

To them all...

* I love you more than words can say, no-one could ever love you more...
* When I take you to the vets, it is really for your benefit not a cruel punishment...
* Grooming is a neccesity of a dogs life...
* (Like Rune told hers) when the time comes, you will each take a chunk of me with you...

To Jamie
*Please keep improving the recall my darling it is making life so much easier!!
To Deacon
*Learn recall, imagine the walks all of us could have, not all dogs/people are potential friends and if I call it means I want you with me!!
To Codee
*Not all noises need to be barked out, as your Mum it is my job to keep you safe!
To Honey
* You have made Jamie's world complete he is back to his old self, I know Remy sent you for us and for that I will always be grateful please don't look so sad, you are truly loved.

ok, here are my suggestions....

1) This is how you operate the hoover-it is time you did something more productive than snoozing whilst I go to work.

2) Why don't you watch Tina and Chandi on Youtube and think up a better routine so I can win the £100,000 "Britain's Got Talent" prize money next year?

3) Leaving your ball on the stairs (Cherry) could mean you end up as orphans in the dog home.

4) The whole close is not your territory to defend against possible villains and burglars (Parker).

5) I wish you would snarl viciously the next time someone asks me if you are Poodles! (Cherry and Parker)

I love you totally and unquestionably.

Bad sounds will not hurt you.

I will always come back for you when I leave you alone.

Barking at everyone who goes past does not actually achieve anything.

The new dog that we will be getting soon does not mean I love you any the less....

Those children in the street are not there for you to bark at.

Kali, Snorri, I know we can't see each other any more, but I still love you as I always did. Be happy, be safe!
