A Ideal Chrissy pressy

Have a look at Scanners, the flatbed ones are the best, they'll scan a pic up to A4 size, they're not expensive, from about £20 upwards, I got one the other day, a Mustek @ £26.

We have hundreds of pics collected over the years (a milk crate sized box) and I've been meaning to covert them to digital on my hard disc for ages.

So if you know someone who'd like to use one give them a treat.
Or of you'd like one yourself, drop a gentle hint.

I've had mine a few years, and I've used it loads, especially when creating special birthday cards or anniversary cards. managed to recreate an excellent wedding photo of my parents last year.

I've had them since they became available in the early 90's. but the last one I got 9 years ago won't work with XP, the company that sold them has went bust and I can't get new software for it to work with XP.

The one I got (Mustek) is very reasonably priced and simple to use.
