Morning Moyra and all to follow.
Beautiful day today only a breeze and sunny tad chilly but much better than it has been.
Towels from the weekend on the line, sheets washing and Dillon walked.
Off out this afternoon to meet Michael and Margaret for afternoon tea.

griff lovely meeting your cousin.
Kazz I think you could go into the kitchen re-jigging and decorating business.
I always loved having the family back in Upwell but not ever being really happy there it never seemed the same. It's surprising when you live somewhere you are happy what a difference it makes.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

Thank you Moyra.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with Michael and Margaret. Been spoilt again they bought me an espaliered nectarine tree and a bottle of prosecco.
We treated them to afternoon tea.

Well how weird is that I was looking at espaliered trees yesterday evening, lucky you. How lovely, I plan on going to an afternoon tea with my friend shortly when we get our acts together. Saying that I had although today while at my Aunts shelter housing someone had put a whirly gig umbrella washing line thing out for recycling and I though one of those would be good to grow climbers up or even an espaliered tree recycling gone mad.

It was a total surprise Kazz and a such a lovely surprise just cannot believe how spoilt I am being.
griff it's a kind of peach like fruit and the espalier means the tree is fanned in old country houses they are fanned against a brick wall. You can buy them already fanned on canes from garden centres. You can espalier most fruit trees.
Here's a link.

I believe it's a very old way of growing fruit trees.
