Sorry, I know I ramble on endlessly at points and often don't make myself clear enough.

I'm sorry Stormey. I know you are all so used to me sitting on the fence and not being opinionated that it's probably easy to misinterpret what I'm trying to say to answer the OP's question.
To clarify.

Sorry for any lack of clarity on this one.

I have to say,, with out and out bulshy dogs, he has a place, with others,, No, His methods wouldnt work on all dogs, depends on the dog, depends on the behaviour or problem, depends on the reason for the behaviour or problem, I think most trainiers now have to be trainers/behaviourists/ and also have the ability to help HUMANS, because when it comes down to it, they live with the dog and may in some cases have caused the problem without knowing it, so often its finding a way to change the way they deal with the dog the way the dog lives in the house and so on, but in a manner that doesnt leave them feeling like they have done something wrong,
His is still showing on sky , I watched him tonight for first time in ages , And i watched him with a lady who had kelpies , One in particular kept lunging at the garden fence and had even jumped the fence and nipped the neighbour ,She was a dog trainor but Cm said it was down to her not controlling the dogs in a calm mannor and teaching them there boundries, Within minutes he had calmed the dogs from running barking at the front door and barking at the neighbours , Just by ssshhhhhing the dog and holding its collar ,So I agree a lot of the problems he solves are due to negative ownership but I still cannot stand his voice sorry to all cm fans but his voice irratates the hell out of me for some reason L,O,L. xxdk
