I can't believe the size of this list - no wonder I have a back problem:
Purse
Umbrella
Hairbrush
Work keys
Tissues
Chewing gum
Mints
Tin of back pills
Tin of Anadin Extra
3 pens
1 Ikea pencil
6 lipsticks
2 lip balms
Bunch of loyalty cards
Avon perfume compact
Magnifying mirror
Fold-up knife
Wet ones
Notebook
Glasses cleaning cloth
Driving licence
Doc's appointment card
Imodium
Emery board
Instructions to a hand free car kit that no longer works

Amazing innit?

That's my excuse anyway, and as Jackie (Wufflehound) will tell you, they are investments![/QUOTE]

LOL, you're learning Grasshopper

My work bag is huge and holds my life.Hairbrush, Brolly, perfume, hand cream, mp3 player, mobile phone, bus schedules, purse, tampax, work id badge, house keys, corkscrew, set of mini screwdrivers (don't forget I work in I.T. and impressed the lads when someone asked for a screwdriver and I fished it out LOL) Makeup bag...and you don't even want to go into what lives in there!
And yes...I was a girl guide! It weighs a ton!

As an aside, my mate and I once went through our bags and counted how many lip glosses we had between us and it was something like 24!!!!!

I only have a bag if i really can't carry it all in my pockets.
So if i do carry one it has:
Purse, phone, keys. not a big bag but easier not having all your pockets full.

Typically, my handbag holds:

keys
2 mobiles
Keys
purse
umbrella
MP3 player (+ spare battery)
make-up bag (with enough make up in to make the Spice Girls look like they did first time round! )
perfume (usually 2 types)
various skin lotions (moisturiser, & prescription creams)
Various bills (or I'll forget to pay them)
cheque book
diary
little mirror
comb & hairband
sunglasses
spare contact lenses
paracetamol
pen & notebook

No wonder it's so flippin' heavy!!

I don't really use a handbag unless I'm going for a nice evening out - which is rare these days.

If I do it contains - money and/or cards, lippy, any medication, mobile, pen, keys.

I travel lightly

Well there is a story behind it! Everytime we go away, we get some wine in to have in the room and everytime I'd forget the corkscrew so I now have one in my bag.
Funny thing is last Christmas at work one of the girls came in and asked if anyone had a corkscrew, voila, I did
They laugh at me at work cause I'm like a walking shop. I have a bottom drawer in my desk that's worse than my bag

Good question.....
Baz wanted me to get him a new fold-up knife and they were so cool, I bought one for myself. I actually used it to open a box the other day
