Glad you have had it looked at Moyra and hoping the tablets work.

Well Gorden is drilling the fireplace looks like hopefully it has been bricked and plastered. He is off out to get a longer fatter drill as bricks are 10cm long and his drill goes 8.5 cms. Would of been better if it was plaster board but as long as it isn't cemented over the bricks shouldn't be to much of a problem.
No idea why people cover them up bad for ventilation and shame to ruin a feature.

We had a nice chicken curry yesterday.
Smoked salmon salad tonight..
I don't mind veggie but, with no intention of offending, I do love a nice medium rare fillet steak.
Just too expensive for regular use.........

Steak is fine if you have teeth to eat it. I still have not got accustomed to my new ones! Hope Max is ok with the fireworks now.

The swelling of my finger has gone down a little and it is not quite so hot. A few more of these antibiotics and hopefully it will be on the mend.
