I dunno kazz.....guess life will figure stuff out. He probably hasn't heard from his sister again.... that's how it goes, I said to my aunty he just seemed so desperate to please her and she said that's it...he has no family at all except her so he is desperate for contact from her and will do whatever....I guess I will always be there for him and Molly, that won't ever change

I'd feel a lot more confident though if vets laid out all the options with prices. Maybe that way I wouldn't think they might be shoving extra costs on the insurance companies.

Our vets do give you an itemised breakdown of the bill and you can see where the money goes, the cost of general anesthesia is eye watering! And they bill for theatre time in half hour increments.... before, we used to just get billed for the anaesthetic and everything else was dumped in with that, now you can actually see the cost of the stitching material, the drapes etc.
I don't know if people here have ever heard of them but there's actually a not for profit vet chain....I never knew such a thing existed! I only stumbled across it trying to find the rough cost of spinal surgery, they are predominantly in the north of England but I just thought what an amazing and unusual thing!
