So Luke is claiming JSA,he has been messed about for 3 weeks

He first claimed whilst his child benefit was still been paid,but instead of them telling him over the phone he couldn't claim until that had finished,he was sent for an interview with an advisor who told him he would need to reclaim the following Monday Great waste of petrol

So he claimed the followng Monday,sent for an interview two days later on the Wednesday and sent to the wrong office but they would see him and when he has to sign on he goes to the other office which is a further 10 miles away
Two days later he gets a letter they want to see his learning agreement from college,why didn't they ask him to take it with him on wednesday,instead of that we use more petrol
So today he goes to the correct office to sign and bet you can't guess what happened next




It was the wrong date they had give him to sign on
It was next week,yet it was there in black and white,they admitted it was there fault and asked if we wanted to claim travel expenses - too right I do!

Honestly no wonder people can't get jobs!

Tell me about it. OH's son is 18 and it has taken weeks and weeks to get his jsa sorted. He is a regular at the job centre but until his benefits are sorted, they dont seem to want to help. They have to be interviewed over the phone but you can never actually get through. The time he almost got to the end of the (very long) interview, the battery died on the cordless phone and he had to start from scratch. He has been trying to get an interview at the job centre but you also have to call to book that. Do they ever answer the phone? Of course not! Its so frustrating for him. He's such a grafter and does want to work but there just isnt anything out there for kids of his age! The whole system is a nightmare!
