Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Yep very windy out there it was only your hardy dog walkers out plus a few men who must go out and buy a paper. Will have to see how the day progresses to see if we venture out again. So far haven't seen any damage around here.

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning Moyra, Sue and all to follow.
My word extremely wild here, we have lost some tiles off the cabin and we will probably lose some more during the day. Nothing to be done though yet far to windy to get up there and try to secure anything which probably won't work anyway.
Oh well if that's all the damage we get we will count ourselves lucky.
Took Dillon out onto the park he had some lovely sprints and did his business then we came home.

Hope everyone else stays safe and no damage done and that everyone is well and all four legged friends are to.

It was terrible walking Amber this morning, nearly got blown away. Dreading
this afternoon's walk. But hey no damage so far so I'm grateful. Stay safe everyone.

Good afternoon all.

It hit with a vengeance here. A windmill (full one) lost its sails and the houses around were evacuated, a full caravan roof has come off, tree down all over the place. We have been so very lucky so far with just the greenhouse door blown off.

Thankfully, it has died down one heck of a lot, but never seen wind, hail and rain like it

Trees down here and flooding, it's calmed down a lot at the minute and just the boards of next doors scaffolding are causing an issue but as long as they damage nothing of ours..I don't care lol also all their rubbish has blown out of the skip and all down the street

Gail force winds and torrential rain here now. glad I walked Amber half an hour ago before it got so bad. Ir was bad enough then but now it reminds me of 1987.

Hi all

Yes, we've had very high winds (50mph) but not as bad as some places. The top of our silver birch tree broke but it had died and I had been thinking how I was going to cut it back, nature has done the job for me

I was feeling good this afternoon so I took Bruno & Xena on my own to Sapiston, just about missed the rain, and Bruno had a swim in the river which he likes, Xena only puts her front paws in Only saw one other dog walker.

Good day to be indors with heating turned up I'm off tohave my afternoon nap now

Bye for now
