Is liver cake safe for a pregnant dog ?

I dont think pregnant women are supposed to eat liver when pregnant so is it similar for dogs ?
Should liver cake be avoided when a dog is pregnant ?

Liver cake is ok as an ocassional treat but dont give to much, as its very rich and can go right though them .

I've fed it before to a pregnant female and they were fine
