Insurance?

I need to insure my 9 week old (un-reg) Border Terrier puppy in the next few weeks (we have 4 weeks free PetPlan with the vets at the moment).

Who do you use for insurance? I'm looking for a cost effective policy with lifetime cover per incident and a fairly low (under £100) excess.

The only company I refuse to deal with are E&L.

Thank you

Are 'More Than' any good? They have a £60.60 cash back offer though Top Cashback at the moment!

My 3 dogs are insured with More Than and I've made a few claims recently. They pay out quickly, direct to the vet, so you don't have to fork out money first and then reclaim from them.
I pay £70 excess + 10% of the vets bill for dogs under 9.
Mine are terriers aged 9&8....the 9 year old is £19 odd a month and the 8year old is £14/month.
The premium does go up every year but not based on claims you might make.....it's based on the age and breed of the dog and the area you live.
They give cover of £7000 per condition per year provided you keep the dog insured with them.
Hope that helps.

EDT It's not lifetime cover but to me was the next best option......I found PetPlan a bit too expensive.

I'm with Axa, lifetime cover, up to £7,000 per year. Excess is £75 (I think lol) and it's £16.50 pm for a GSD.

I recently had to cancel a More Than policy as it was too expensive to insure a 9 year old boxer and as I had made a few claims for lumps it had eaten into the £7000 for that condition I was paying a high premium for less benefit.

AXA I think are lifetime cover and £7000 each year whereas More Than are £7000 a condition.

I always go on the go compare site and then go for the best value one. Mine are all on different ones.
