Puppy's first water encounter!!

Today we took our Roxi to cannock chase, we wanted to introduce her to water shallow enough for her to feel confident.

The walk was lovely if you can handle some (minor) inclines lol. Lots of things to see and sniff, met a really nice dog owner who owned four huskys... luckily he knew his way around the valleys and was very helpful when we got lost.

Roxi really enjoyed herself, lots of places to explore but some how she still managed to find the one place she wasnt supposed to go (a price we pay to see her walking off the lead). When we reached the steppings stones we were so pleased to see our nervous little pup found her water feet really easily and loved seeing her dash in and out creating all sorts of mischief.

We highly recommend these nature trails to any owner who wants to slowly introduce their dog to water. We parked in the Milford Common car park but there are several different parking areas.
