Abdominal surgery and knee surgery

Hello again. Wishing I could report that all is well with Teddy my 15 month Goldendoodle. A mere 5 weeks after lux pattella surgery Teddy decided to chew and swallow a piece of her toy, I believe out of boredom because she was on restricted play and limited walking. We were not watching her closely enough when she decided to eat the 2 pounds of grass to try to settle her tummy. She quickly became ill and rushed to the vets for emergency abdominal surgery to remove contents. 15 months old and two very costly surgeries later Teddy is doing fine. Just wanted to warn everyone what serious issues these toys with squeekers can cause. Beware of allowing them to have toys when they are not closely supervised we could have lost her! Vey big lesson learned.
