Steve is happy, his new playstation classic is here...bless him

Lynn some of the old tvs worked with freeview boxes. But sadly I think it has just given up the ghost. Sad because it was my mums that she used in the kitchen many many years ago. I have been busy mowing and trimming the grass etc. Lovely and sunny here after initial wet this morning. I was helped by friendly bees and birds singing. Good tv for me this evening so I will at least be resting after all that work. Have a good evening peeps.

It's still throwing it down here. Quite a few schools have closed, the hospital in Boston is flooded, some houses in Winthorpe are on the verge of evacuation. Looking at the road in Horncastle which is quite deeply affected, it looks like it may be closed shortly.

The forecast is now showing that we may be a break in the rain tomorrow morning. I hope so. It'll give our antiquated main drainage system time to catch up.

Fortunately, apart from puddled gardens, we aren't too badly affected (touch wood)

Good Lord we are still raining here quite hard too.

Was looking t the flooding around Lincs Chris. Holbeach where we were looking at a house the road is flooded and surrounding roads. glad we didn't choose that one.
Where we went last Spring with the van the village is flooded. Hagmanisworth. Boston quite frightening. Glad you seem to be ok, everything crossed it remains that way and the rain eases.
Hope the rain stops soon for you Kazz.

My brother has just said he is happy to pay for. 10 hours of our solicitors time £2500...that boy is tighter than a ducks bum.how kind!
