Just wanted to add, that within the NEWFOUNDLAND breeding world it is just a done thing, if a dog comes back to the breeder and it is to be rehomed, the breeder automatically neuteres the dog before it goes off to its forever home. So the comment i made would have been for any type of dog not picking because it is a ni thread.

Infact bianca my new 3 year old was given to me because the breeder had mated her twice with no success, she has come to me without being spayed and alot of people i know think this is bad. As there is nothing physically wrong with her i could at some point try again if i chose to (i wouldn't) but in the wrong hands she could be worth a mint, unfortunately not everyone will choose not to try and mate her and i think my breeder made a big mistake in doing this.

I am not knocking this breeder or the dog, i really hope he finds a fabulous home, its just some people seem to be perfect and then abuse a situation for there benefit at a later date when they are able and have the dog. If a dog has been done there is no chance of this happening and in the long run it would protect the breeders reputation as well.

As i see it this tends to happen a lot in many breeds and i think that is why people have given out advice regarding this.

Not being personal YET AGAIN are we ? No change there then

I was simply pointing out something, no need to go back to the playground

I am allowed an opinion the same as the next person, that's what this forum is for and I dont remember anyone saying that you were in charge

Awww I am so pleased for him, having read your post I would not have read into it that he was entire to be used as stud, I just saw it that you was being open and honest about his situation.......So it seems different people read things and take things very differently for which the OP should not be blamed. If they can't afford the operation then thats that they seem responsible enough to me to explain this to new potential owners......just my opinion

Hope he settles well am so jealous of his new family xx
