Try avoiding the games, jokes & funnies section in future.

Trying to drink tea/coffee while browsing this section will frequently result in said beverage being expelled out of your nose onto the keyboard at high velocity...

Seriously, I'd get e new keyboard to see if that helps. You can pick 'em up dirt cheap if you shop around a little.

Might be a dicky keyboard, but try running a virus scan as well, just in case! There are also a few on-line PC "healthcheck" sites you could try!

http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/?ref=googleB - it wants to sell you software, but there is a free trial version

http://www.free-pc-checkup.com/ free download

I haven't used these myself (I don't have a PC), so I can't vouch for them personally, but they look like they might help you.

yes i must admit I had spilt juice on it but i thought id wiped it off so quickly it wouldnt matter, mind you the letters on the keys were starting to wear right off from over-use so alas, alack the old keyboard is now dead (RIP) and I have been and bought a brand new one today

Do I get the title of "First Dogwebber to wear out a keyboard"?

Again, nope! The Snorri Mansions "Big Mac" is on its second keyboard (and nothing spilt on it!

The CCOTY* award of merit is on its way, though
