Minty Neapolitan Mastiff male

Meet Minty

Minty is a 4-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff who is looking for a new home because his previous owners decided to emigrate.

Soppy and sweet-natured Minty is a trustworthy and well-behaved dog who has the manners of a gentleman. He knows all the usual commands, is toilet-trained, can be left alone without problems, walks well on his lead and is well-behaved off-lead. He is good with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets including children of all ages, though people in hoodies and baseball hats make him feel uneasy. Gentle and affectionate he loves to nuzzle up to you and lick your face if allowed. He also loves his creature comforts, preferring to sleep on the sofa or on a thick double quilt.

Minty’s favourite toys are soft teddies, which he likes to carry around in his mouth – something of a bonus when it comes to soaking up excess slobber! When he’s not carrying a teddy he like to engage you in conversation with affectionate grumbling noises. He will need a minimum of one hour of off-lead exercise daily in a park or open space. He enjoys being groomed so would appreciate this on a regular basis too. His new family will have owned dogs before and will have researched the mastiff breed. He would happily live with sensible children and/or a dog confident cat, he could also live with someone who worked part-time. This gorgeous and friendly boy will make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone who will provide him with plenty of love and attention, and will treat him as an additional family member.

Minty is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
