Becky only just saw this, I am so sorry, wish i could help in some way.
I don't know where you live now, but this site often has live in jobs for people, dogs welcome at kennels etc

I have a friend who lives in with an old lady in a big house in the country , she provides some light housework and dog walking for the ladies dogs and she was able to take her dogs too. I don't know if this might be an idea??

Well I suppose I should own up now to my secret which makes the timing of this doubley (sp?) bad is that after nearly 2 years of trying and loads of tests my Ellie is pregnant, due in about 3 weeks so the pups will be about 5 weeks come kick out day This was THE litter I was waiting for as well
