Sudocrem - is it suitable to use on dog's itchy, irritated leg?

Mys' post got me thinking - can you use Sudocrem for an itchy, irritated leg on a dog? Loki has been chewing his leg and it's very irritated. I got some free Sudocrem when pregnant but I've managed to avoid nappy rash so far so would it help Loki?

one bit of advice when using sudrocrem make sure its rubbed in well cos sudocrem is terrible if it gets on to clothing it wont wash out on the first wash

also if you dont find this works try conotrane or drapalene i use all of them and they all do the job love the drapelene though cos its cold and soothing to the skin

I was told to use Sudocrem on the fold of skin behind my Pugs tail as the skin gets very dry. It has worked wonders on him........not a flake in sight!

Yes I use it too, it works wonders, we use it on horses too.

Have to agree about trying to get it out of fabrics, quite a few times have had to scrub the carpet.
