It could be arthritis causing pain. A trip to the vet would help put your mind at ease.

Licking paws can be a symptom of a number of things, not necessarily directly paw related either.

I second a trip to the vet. Especially at her age, you want to find the root of it.

Could be food allergies, if she's also itching her ears and bum along the floor. I find batch flower remedies very helpful.

Staffies just like to lick their paws.
If it's an allergy the paws will look pink or red and she'll be making them sore.
Can she be distracted from doing it or is she obsessed?
Has her food been changed recently?
Needn't be food related even if it is an allergy, could be related to grass where she's walked etc.

Definitely a vet visit called for.

Paw licking is often an indication of pain. My old boy used to do it when the arthritis in his back hips was playing up

That's true! I agree with the other post you need to go to your vet now for some check up, to make sure what's the best treatment for that. And to figured out why he always do licking his paws.

My dog used to lick his paws constantly and it was determined he had allergies. His paws looked normal. I had to give him a daily antihistamine.
We also learned he had food allergies so put him on a prescription diet.
