Are you sure she has finished? Sometimes they get like this is there are still more to come.

My Daisy didn't like me anywhere near when she had her first litter, I ended up putting a lead on her the next day and forcing her outside, hubby stayed with her while I checked the pups over.

Don't panic yet, it's all new to her and she's not sure what is going on! The more you try to check, the more likely she is to lie on them! Give her time, she'll settle and as long as she's not being agressive to her babies then they should be ok for now.

stay calm and leave the bedding till she is settled she has just deliverd 10 pups and is guarding them with her life all quite normal ...........she will go out for a wee soon i expect you could try and temp her out ..

Don't feel bad if she won't go I had to literally drag Ruby out for a pee after she gave birth, she just hated leaving them.

Shibby just told me that the lady had eaten all the after births... yum but it is good. she's doing OK by the sounds of it!

she wont move, looks exhausted. i will try and get her outside if i can so we can check them over, ill get paul to stay outside with her x

all the puppies seem fine all wriggly and stuff, trying to get some food. when i check them, do i weigh them, or just check them out
