Eagerly awaiting a post to see how the expectant mum got on at the vets. Well I hope.

They had to reschedule her appointment for tomorrow at 11:15, they had too many appointments today. So she will be going in tomorrow. I am a ball of nerves.

She'll come out the same way she went in - pregnant.
Unless of course she decides Tonights The Night
By the way, blankets are not a good thing for her to have babies on, you're best bedding her down with newspaper, old sheets and towels, they can be shoved in the washer as you go along that way

We are at the vets office waiting patiently for the doctor

Okay girls, just getting home from seeing the vet! He told me that Baylor is one healthy girl! And he said that the puppies are strong! He is estimating that she will have them within five days. She is producing milk. He also said she is going to have a good sized litter, possibly 8 or 9! Wow! His only concern is that when she was at the shelter, they gave her vaccinations, not knowing she was pregnant, and he said that can harm the babies, so I am hoping they are all healthy and no side effects from the vaccines!! But all is good so far! He said to keep feeding her puppy chow and calcium.

OOH. Dont tell me we might have nearly another week to wait yet Glad to hear she is a healthy girl though. If she has so many you will have your hands full
