Paddys thread.. Day 1 of the cancer diagnosis...

Hi,

As some of you will know i posted a couple of days ago saying my doggy had a suspected cruciate ligament injury.... And here i am 2 days on attempting to get my head round the fact my baby has cancer.

I wanted to open a thread for her and to offer support to anyone else who is going through this.

I'm petrified to be completely honest.
Monday will be our day of truth, we will hopefully know by then whether it has spread or whether its just on her leg and what our options are.

I really want to fight this but i also dont want her to suffer months of treatments and pain only to lose her. I know we have to be sensible and realistic and listen to the specialists.

Paddy was very down and looked awful yesterday after the anaesthetic for her x rays. Today she is her usual self, bouncing around the house, you wouldnt be able to tell anything is wrong apart from her limp...

If you can all cross your fingers for us on monday i would be very grateful. Paddy is 8yrs old and an absolute sweetheart.

Clare xx
