Well that'll teach me to come into a thread at the end.
My immediate thought process was " What ?! Brian Cox ( actor ) to play Mr Grey ?! "
Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic actor, but the thought of him heaving about in a porny romp gave me the dry boak

Yeah I know. Like to keep you on your toes.

Plus I was trying to get across some of us who read this book and similar do read other stuff as well. I can do intellectual non fiction good crime novel biography if it is someone who interests me etc.,

There are times though when I just want a good lighthearted read which makes me giggle and wonder where the author gets his/her ideas from and know its total fantasy. No my real life isn't anything like the book. The wealth and the greek god look alike would do nicely though. The rest I can live without.

I haven't read it, I wouldn't give it house room, I don't like living in dream worlds, I like the real thing, so I never do fiction, especially mummy pawn as Murf so eloquently put it , but I saw the programme the other week on the telly, got bored, so channel hopped after 10 mins or so. It would be the last book I'd pick off the shelf, but then I've always been a bit of a prude I had a strange upbringing ya know!

Give me a Break! Women all over the United States are raving about those books! (Some quitely due to subject matter).
They are Number 1 Best Sellers by Barnes and Noble and Amazon, the News, the Internet, etc. Everywhere overhere people are talking. The absolute major of it is GOOD. When there is this much interest. There are people jumping on the bandwagon - looking for Movie rights. I myself am already looking forward to E.L. James next book!

The Grey Books are simply a great escape! Not everything is life is to be taken too seriously.
