Thanks guys, much appreciated...it didnt go well at all

Just back from vets, she checked his elbows & hip joints...his left is far worse than his right though in her words 'both feel in a dire state'

He was in so much pain when she tried moving them she gave him an injection there & then. We've been given metacam hes on max dose straight away, then booked in for xrays next wednesday morning. Shes told me to expect the worst when the xrays are done...(They know me well, I like to be told straight to the point)

Sorry guys, cant write anymore just now am sat here crying & I need to pull meself together as heading back to work....gutted for my big fella

Hes been through so much, just makes it all the more harder to deal with in my head. Will be sure your hugs get passed on xx

So sorry news isn't good try not to get too down. I heard of a Newfie who was diagnosed with bad hips but once specialist saw x rays it wasn't as bad

Totally, utterly gutted for you Bev Hang on in there till next Wednesday, he's out of pain now, so just wait and see, sometimes they're wrong with their diagnosis before any proof, so stay positive.xxxx So, sorry, you must be in bits.xxx
